Vintage Ping Hoofer Stand Golf Bag-Black 4-Way Dual for sale in Columbus, GA
This is an absolutely awesome vintage ping hoofer bag, it has a four-way divider. It also has the classic double straps, and the and works perfectly. The stand is Not Bent or lopsided whatsoever. In photo number 8 I have a small section that is outlined with yellow broken lines, you can see that the material is slightly darker right there. In the upmost outside top pocket there was sunscreen that burst from the Heat, that is where the discoloration is from and if you look at the photos to follow you will see that there's some black material that has broken down and is flaking off the backside of that pocket, inside the big panel, and inside the small pocket where the sunscreen was. I have cleaned this area several times with different cleaners. I was able to lighten the color of the stain slightly but the most important thing was trying to remove as much of the flaking material as possible. I have left the pockets open for quite some time to make sure that everything is dried. The only thing that I have not done which I'm sure would help tremendously would be to take a plastic stiff bristle brush and scrub that material dry, with no water or solvent. I believe that most of material would come loose and it could be emptied out or vacuumed out with a Shop-Vac. Other than that small area which I have taken so much time explaining, the rest of the bag is in pretty good condition and has lots of life left in it as long as it's taken care of. On the outside bottom pocket where the Ping Man is there are three dots on that pocket that are lighter, they are almost scuff marks but definitely not holes. As you can see from the photos, despite my description that is so intense, the bag looks great especially for it being vintage. I could go on and on but I'll let the photos speak for his condition. Good luck. Also, do not hesitate to ask questions. Thanks so much. If payment is not made after the auction is won, please contact me with your plans for payment. Payment is supposed to be made within 48 hours, that is e Bay policy. After 48 Hours a non payment complaint will be filed, that's just so that I can recoup my charges for the listing, and the percentage that e Bay gets for the final sale. I am pretty easy to work with, however if I do not get a response I will cancel the transaction and relist an item that is not paid for. Shipping is usually done pretty quick, but it will be done within 2 business days of payment. Sometimes I drop off packages in a parcel drop box, and sometimes after postal hours, which both of those things can effect when the item is scanned and when it leaves the post office. You can look at my feedback and see that items are shipped in a timely manner. Thanks
