The Company Aflac The Location Columbus, GA The Division Global Security/Cyber Crime Prevention The Opportunity Senior Cyber Crime Prevention Analyst Job Summary Create and run Cyber Crime analytics that support authentication, cyber crime prevention, risk partners, and other business functions; Responsible for understanding Aflac business and data flows and integrating them into technology tools and working with business/technology partners to ensure capability alignment.
Enables Aflac to serve customers in a secure manner by on-going tuning and monitoring of tool and business processes.
Self-directed and deep experience with analytics, models, and advance data concepts; Building analytics framework in an effective manner to best identify and prevent suspect activity before it happens.
Work with LOB and other internal stake-holders on management and integration of tools.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities Drive implementation of leading edge analytics in support of Aflac Ensure technology is aligned to support Aflac core business goals and objectives Work with business partners to ensure capability and strategic alignment Understand business objectives and plans of Aflac and ensure Cyber Crime technology direction will support Identify, interpret, and communicate cyber crime issues related to Aflac internal business partners Support an integrated approach to cyber crime prevention that aligns with Global Security technology platforms Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and legal and regulatory changes via involvement in industry groups Performs other related duties as required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree required in Management Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Information Systems, Math or Data Analytics, with six to eight years of related work experience.
Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of information security, fraud and cyber crime schemes, controls, and risk management processes Working knowledge of information security related laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.
g.
, FFIEC, GLBA, HIPAA, and PCI DSS) Current designation and maintenance or willingness to obtain a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or similar certifications (preferred) Deep Experience in Financial Services or Insurance industry The ability to interface across the organization with other teams throughout Aflac such as system operations, infrastructure, security personnel, etc.
Deep knowledge of Splunk or other analytic/data tools is a plus Proven ability to assess risks and controls and to identify solutions to reduce risk Demonstrated initiative and commitment for results and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple initiatives A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Solid knowledge of authentication and digital tools in the financial and insurance space Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively Ability to articulate security concepts to business users Core Competencies Action Oriented, Customer Focus, Adaptability, Listening, Ethics and Values, Integrity and Trust Functional Competencies Business Acumen, Drive For Results, Informing, Time Management, Planning, Intellectual Horsepower, Priority Setting The Benefits Aflac is known for treating our employees exceptionally well.
