Maintenance Technician

Job Summary (State overall purpose of the job in 2-3 sentences)
Under general supervision, performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Duties may increase in scope as the employee becomes more skilled, but the primary emphasis is the performance of a variety of maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade.
Essential Job Duties (Most important job duties explained clearly and concisely)
Does repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Fabricates or modifies machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
Performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
Performs assigned preventative maintenances tasks.
Keeps maintenance and production supervisors up-to-date at all times.
Answers all radio calls pertaining to maintenance mechanics.
Never leaves a repair or problem on the line without being properly relieved by an oncoming mechanic.
Must maintain a clean work area, tools and equipment.
Must be able to communicate/interact with all levels of employees in a professional manner.
Must comply with all GMP's and safety rules and regulations.
Ability to work with and train others .i.e., machine operators and other mechanics
Fills out mechanic's report sheet.
Asks for assistance when needed to resolve a problem; never allows downtime to occur because of uncertainty.
Works with little supervision.
All other duties as assigned.

High school diploma preferred, or GED or equivalent education and experience.
Machines, Tools, or Equipment Used (List major machines, tools, equipment used and how often they are used occasionally, frequently, continuously)

Education and Experience (Minimum and preferred educational requirements, years of experience needed to successfully perform the job High School or GED, High School plus specialized vocation or technical education, college degree)
Position typically requires a high school education or equivalent and two years of experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
