Summary of Job Function
Supports the development of individuals, teams and work initiatives. Provides the business direction of the assigned work components for a product, platform or project. Negotiates with stakeholders to determine scope and budget of work activities which advance TSYS business objectives and client needs. Builds and maintains client relationships.
Essential Responsibilities
May serve as subject matter expert for components or development and support for a module, area, product, or project. Guides understanding of client requirements and impact for area (e.g. monetary impacts of module to client, impact to system changes and/or issues to TSYS and client).
Assists management in guiding staff activities and business development activities for respective area to include problem resolution and management, client maintenance, project requests, system enhancements, and client specific requests. Serves as a consultant for large projects. Provides a strategic focus, direction of the work, decisions and processes in an assigned component of a module, area, product, or project. Works to emphasize quality client support, sales and marketing of the product(s).
Conducts limited to moderate analysis of data, requests, and facts with regular interpretation. Solves typically moderate complex problems through the application of established procedures or limited collaboration. Uses individual judgment to make recommendations for actions within established framework of the area or for changes to established methods.
Provides regular reporting to the client on status of products or projects, work requests, and process improvements. Participates in client meetings and TSYS sponsored forums. May present internal initiatives to large groups and/or Senior Management.
Conducts frequent client communication with purpose to gain consensus or compromise on problems sometimes involving confidential or sensitive information. Builds relationships with client contacts.
Executes, and may assist, in setting strategic direction for component(s) and controls to stay current with client business needs, industry trends, and new business opportunities. Consults with client to determine best business practices and communication methods.
Assigns team members to projects, tasks and problems. Defines methods and tracks financial or effectiveness measurements to quantify contribution to TSYS income and expense of component(s). Facilitates regular status meetings or reporting to ensure projects and problems are being completed on schedule and with quality.
Works with Directors and counterparts to set priorities for work and to build cross functional teams. Collaborates with management of other areas to set priorities for different work efforts. May work with units outside area and company to build teams and complete client work.
Serves as escalation point for assigned work area. Handles non-routine issues, without referral to management, with minimal input or recommendations. Makes decisions which typically affect a cost center or entire department and will include groups with similar responsibilities in other departments. Avoids errors, which may have the potential to result in moderate to significant impact.
Tracks overall number of projects or tasks for component(s) to keep on schedule and to adjust resource allocation as necessary. Identifies additional resource or training needs and requests from management. Requires workload be monitored daily and the timely delivery of work is met.
Oversees the resources or conducts the training of clients, team members, or other outside entities for assigned area. May market the component's features. May conduct the training and assist in sales presentations to prospects.
Typically has supervisory responsibility of eight to 25 team members performing skilled tasks. Tasks tend to be highly specialized in nature in one or more functional areas. Tracks team member growth and mastery of job responsibilities. Plans for team member training. Develops first levels of management in assigned area.
Oversees and accounts for review of deliverables from the relevant TSYS processes for content, accuracy, timelines, and areas for improvement.
Crosses component lines to determine impact of projects or client requests. Participates in work prioritization and direction of requested work. Establishes plans for completing requests. Determines alternatives to meet client needs or increase revenue opportunities for TSYS. Represents the department in various focus groups and Six Sigma teams.
Implements approach to revenue generation for products and features. May present recommendations to the Pricing Committee, Investment Decision Council or other approving bodies.
Facilitates knowledge transfer between ongoing projects and client issues to ensure component(s) is meeting client and TSYS needs.
Implements the development of new products, module features and services to increase TSYS Revenue, productivity, product strength, or reduce risk.
May plan or provide input on annual budget for cost center to include employment expense, client travel, and tools and resources needed to maintain high level of client service.
Conducts the performance evaluation process, matching team member goals with department goals.
Serves as the escalation point for team member work schedules. Ensures adequate coverage is available in times of high risk. Approves employee leaves and handles necessary paperwork.

Education and/or Experience
Four year college degree and eight or more years professional experienceorten or more years professional experience is required. Previous management is required. Some appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
