Pediatric Dentist Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions for infants, children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' dental needs.
- Perform dental procedures such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions and preventative treatments.
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices, nutrition and proper dental care techniques.
- Monitor and maintain patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Pediatric Dentist Qualifications:
- Dental degree from an accredited dental school in the United States.
- Board eligible or certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Excellent clinical skills and a deep understanding of pediatric dentistry principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their parents.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Previous experience preferred, but more than willing to bring on new/soon-to-be graduates
