Performs limited clinical diagnostic procedures for patients with sleep related disordersAdministration of oxygen or positive airway pressure must be under the direct supervision of a registered polysomnographer.
Other duties may include scoring, community education, marketing and inventory management.
Minimum EducationX High school diploma or equivalent X RequiredMinimum EducationX Graduate of JRCRTE and AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy X PreferredMinimum Work ExperienceSix (6) months experience as a polysomnographic technicianRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervisionMust be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
