how would YOU put our drinks on every table? Position Description The R&D Quality Technician performs physical, analytical, and microbiological testing on beverages and raw materials in the Corporate Laboratory department.
This individual is also responsible for testing products by following SOPs, accurately entering results, and ensuring product conforms to product specifications.
Responsibilities:
Log samples in to LIMS system.
Provide informal and formal data reports to internal and external customers.
Perform various physical, micro, analytical tests in the laboratory.
Ensure that testing of products is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure equipment is calibrated and operating efficiently before testing is performed.
Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Inform Manager of any out-of-standard products/issues.
Ability to enter data from analysis of all testing into company LIMS system.
Maintain a clean and safe laboratory.
Additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science related field.
Prefer at least 1 year of lab experience.
Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must be organized, very detail-oriented, adaptable, able to follow instructions and capable of working independently.
Must be able to prioritize numerous projects and responsibilities.
Ability to pay close attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Must have integrity and incorporate rational thinking in decision making.
Understanding of proper/basic chemical handling techniques.
Knowledge of laboratory safety precautions and GMP regulations.
Ability to calculate mathematical figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to read, comprehend, and following written work related instructions.
Ability to work without close supervision.
