Summary:
We are looking for an Administrative Specialist to support U.
S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs (OFTP), Strategic Development Unit (SDU) in Fort Moore (formerly Benning), GA.
Essential Job Functions:

Maintain office logs and files.

Search electronic and hardcopy files and databases for records, supportive data, and historical documents.

Prepare, write, and edit a variety of correspondence including letters and memos.

Prepare, create, format, and edit spreadsheets, presentations, and charts.

Support the development and implementation of a correspondence management process, to include templates and samples for letters, memorandums, directives, manuals, or other similar items.

Recommend the improvement and simplification of reporting requirements through analyses of data reported, analyses of the requirements and methods for preparation of reports and assuring that reporting requirements are met.

Ensure office equipment is maintained and functional, requesting updated or replacement equipment as needed.

Support property management initiatives during inventory actions.

Assist with tracking and maintaining associated files related to purchases.

Serve as a Hazardous Waste Manager for SDU.

Provide suggestions to increase performance efficiency and effectiveness and streamline processes.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Strong attention to detail; skilled in organizing, managing, coordination.

Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Minimum
Qualifications:

Academic high school diploma or G.
E.
D
Minimum of 5 years of office/clerical work experience to include vehicle management and financial management OR Associates degree plus 2 years of office/clerical work experience to include vehicle management and financial management.

All staff will be required to complete a DHS background investigation, and other checks as required by state law.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Must be a US citizen.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
