4 Full-time 17 hours ago Full Job Description Job Summary The Marketing Platforms Developer provides support for email and web initiatives within Synovus Marketing.
This role will focus on the technical aspects of digital marketing and will be responsible for increasing email marketing success by coding, building, and testing email communications within Synovus's ESP, producing well-designed web pages or forms that are semantic, accessible, and well-coded and connected to other marketing digital services when needed.
This position will be responsible for making sure project timelines are met for both large and small digital marketing projects and managing a quality assurance process for both channels.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Adapts conceptual creative work and uses existing creative guidance and examples to produce accessible emails and web content (or forms) that adhere to Synovus' standards for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborates with creative and design teams to understand the requirements for interactivity, CMS components, UI and responsiveness, and accessibility.
Collaborates with content creation, product marketing, and line of business teams as well as agencies to understand goals and create action plans to convert their needs to well-designed, functional emails and/or web pages.
Collaborates with Digital Marketing or Operations team members to connect to and use marketing and CRM systems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Works with IT development teams, writing acceptance criteria for CMS platform updates or new components, and actively collaborating on projects milestones and delivery dates.
Schedules and runs meetings, maintains project timelines for digital initiatives, gathers and refines project objectives and requirements, and manages milestones and deliverables in Adobe Workfront.
Reviews content and design for Synovus.
com, participates in QA testing and UAT, and assists with troubleshooting errors.
Also, reviews and tests existing email journeys to ensure device and ISP standards have not negativity impacted existing code.
Occasionally, works evening or weekend hours as required by business needs, and will also need to be available to IT teams during elevation windows.
Partners with Compliance, Regulatory Audit, IT Security, and Privacy to provide governance and obtain necessary evaluations for systems and vendors that store and leverage customer data and/or require accessibility testing.
Stays informed of new privacy regulation or industry changes to inform how Synovus should continuously adapt.
Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area.
This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum
Experience:
3-5
of email, eChannel, digital marketing experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, or Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript and jQuery.
Proficiency in building responsive web pages and optimizing for tablet and mobile.
Proficiency with Adobe CC and Adobe Photoshop, and knowing which image formats to use.
Experience using an enterprise CMS like Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, or Acquia, or smaller platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
Relevant email development work experience, specifically coding, proofing, testing, and troubleshooting expertise while using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua, Acoustic or equivalent ESP.
Experience optimizing web pages for optimal SEO performance.
Experience managing video content on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Brightcove, or Wistia.
Experience with tagging using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics event tags.
Experience working with creative and design teams.
Experience working with IT development teams.
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office apps and collaboration tools like SharePoint.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Working knowledge of accessible web requirements and testing tools.
Analytical thinking skills, creative problem solving, and learning new things.
Some experience with a locations management platform like Google My Business, MapQuest, or Yext.
Good organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Good interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork.
Attention to detail and the ability to self-test their own work.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
