As a Production Coordinator at our fabrication shop in Columbus, GA, you will be a great asset to our team.
What we'll love about you:
Experience in a manufacturing environment (equivalent combinations of education and experience would be considered) Understanding of the Structural Steel Industry would be an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate rigor, resourcefulness, initiative versatility and determination.
Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Ability to work within a team, collaborative spirit, and strong ability to manage priorities.
Experience working in a high-volume busy environment where multi-tasking is required.
Comfortable with computers and working with product tracking programs along with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) What you'll work on:
As a Production Coordinator at Steelcon, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, and tracking detailed fabrication information to assist the fabrication team.
This would include:
Printing Fabrication Drawings and Labels Organizing & Filing Fabrication Drawings Creating Detailed Project Information on excel spreadsheets.
Creating Fabrication Routing Plans on a tracking program Tracking Fabrication Progress and addressing issues with the fabrication team Developing material orders based on upcoming work requirements.
Creating Shipping Bills Tracking Project Fabrication Manhours Shift:
