Summary

Assists in the running of the finishing machine equipment in an efficient and cost sensitive manner which will maximize production and product quality that is required in the commercial printing environment.
Responsibilities
Under moderate supervision:
Operates and maintains one or more machines involved in the production process. This includes machines operated to setup and adjust feeder, fold, including perforating, scoring, gluing, slitting/trimming and post mailers, letters or notices for distribution to internal personnel, or customers. Also includes machines operated to personalize, encode, and label. Responsible for quality of the work produced, and may be required to use liquids/chemicals, and make operating adjustments as well as perform routine maintenance on equipment.
May be required to operate a company vehicle to conduct business.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience



Shift:
Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm overtime as needed

Must have Machine experience.
High School diploma or equivalent and two or more years related work experience. Knowledge of folder operation and set-up practices. Knowledge of the operation and function of other bindery equipment and machinery. Valid Driver's License and satisfactory motor vehicle record required. Some appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.
Working Conditions
Standing for at least 10 - 12 hours per day.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Additional work outside regularly scheduled/normal business hours may be required in order to fulfill client or 24x7x365 needs.
